Next Step is the new adult careers service.
It will provide access to the best information, advice and resources, which will help you make more effective skills, careers, work and life choices.
Next Step will replace the existing services from nextstep, the Careers Advice Service and Skills Accounts.
Who is it for?
It will be available to ALL adults in England, aged 19 or over, whatever their prior skills, qualifications or employment status.
How can you access Next Step?
Just bookmark this page to access the service online. You can also speak to an adviser or make a face-to-face appointment by calling 0800 100 900.

On the website, you will be able to:
- assess your skills and interests
- find a suitable course
- look at careers information
- improve your job search skills
- find out how much government funding could be available to support you
- register with Next Step, where you can store personal information on your skills development, achievements, careers, financial support and a CV in one easily accessible secure location.
